Breathwork Set Me Free

I believe that we all have the potential to be free.

Freedom, to me, is being able to wake up every day with openness and gratitude for what’s in store. My capacity to come back into myself and surrender into what is, no matter the circumstance, is my capacity for freedom.

I’ve found the breath is a key into this place.

Breath brings me into the moment.

Breath brings me out of my mind.

Breath brings me into my body.

Breath guides me to surrender.

Most of all, breath reveals to me what is no longer working.

The breath is an invitation.

When I accepted, I was guided into my internal world and was gifted an awareness I had yet to find.

I noticed the spaces within that were asking for attention. With the support of my breath, I am able to slowly offer my love to better integrate these aspects of myself that were separated long ago.

This may sound confusing, and until it happened for me, I didn’t truly understand either.

But that’s the power of the breath.

When you are willing, the breath will reveal to you what needs love, attention, and tenderness.

For me, I’ve found myself next to my child self. Looking her in the eyes and offering her the understanding that she is safe and loved. I was able to visit some of the most impactful times of my life and offer a loving awareness to bring deeper healing within.

Creating a relationship with my breath has made me a more present mom. This may be my biggest gift of all.

I have found a greater capacity for allowing space during times of frustration. Instead of reacting with the yelling behavior that I grew up with, I am able to breathe through the discomfort and offer my attention to my daughter when she needs it most.

Through finding a relationship with my breath I have found a greater love for myself. I stand more fully in my power with the awareness of my breath as a tool.

I see that in a moment’s time the breath can change the course of an interaction.

We all have the ability to create this relationship with the breath.

Divine Source has given us this tool, it is our birthright to begin using the breath for healing.

May we all find ourselves a little more in love with life, one breath at a time.
